Bnoopy: Persistence Pays. Part 1

Wow, talk about coincidence…. When we went to see a VC years ago, we had the technical issues pretty much mastered, or so we thought. We didn’t have a business plan or anything… The VC asked the same question. How are you going to make money… we didn’t have financial projections at all. Our plan was pretty much shoot from the hip. The cool part is the VC took some time to get us going in the right direction. Amazing…. but then this was the dot com era.

Years later, we may be failing in the persistance aspect. As soon as we followed up on the market research, we realized our technology was way too far out into the future. As such, back in the garage it went. And unfortunately out of sight = out of mind. While I percieve we are still 10 years too early, to sit back and not develop the product as technology evolves, keep an eye on patents and IP, and at least keep the idea contemporary will more than likely shoot us in the foot. We are encumbered by reality….

Joe’s blog is a kick in the pants for us to dig it out again, and keep moving. At least then we can be ready when the market is. Unencumbered by Reality!!!
