More Poltical Stuff

This evenings debates saw major screwups by both candidates, as well as some good points. I’d say it to be a draw, but we shall see what the spin masters on both sides say.

I really hate it when they play deflect the question. No one wants to commit, although I do give Kerry credit for his tax commitment. Otoh, you can see lawyerease shining through, as he was not completely explicit as the questioner asked.

I didn’t like George Bush’s failure to answer 3 failures and recovery question. Then again, that would require significant time for thinking it through, so to some extent its excusable. I did like some of the stands he made however.

Kerry came through well with his patriot act thinking. Otoh, his medical plan…. well its a bad deal, just like most everything seems to be in govt. Be sure to check out his web site. There is information worth looking over for sure. Some good ideas, some bad, many of which I disagree with… but still might be good ideas.

Lastly, I came across this today. Its pretty disgusting, and even if Kerry were Republican, this would pretty much kill off any chance of me voting for him.
