Hmmm, anyone want a Dell? I have 2 of them, before I wised up and switched to IBM. Then again, a 50% savings is a great deal, as long as it works… Yet, for that price, having to deal with Dell support may be worthwhile. In all fairness to Dell, as long as its not a work or mission critical machine, its probably fine. In fact, my old Latitude XP’s are still working, and they are 12 years old…. But, I had to learn to fix them myself. Getting a $4600 estimated repair from Dell for a corrupted EEPROM problem was insane. Instead, I learned the fun of laptop repair.
