Neuros, open source MP3 player

As I’ve been having fun with woot for a while, I learned about the Neuros MP3 player. Its pretty cool, and its open source. Whats even more amazing is the above forum…. Talk about getting to know the details of your hardware, AND creating a dedicated user base. I think its pretty forward thinking.

Its also interesting to note the CEO has a forum as well. Folks can rant and rave to the big guy. While its not time efficient for a CEO to be involved with the day to day issues….just putting oneself out there, is amazing. The other cool thing is that one of their marketing folks actually jumped in on the woot forum last Friday night, during a wootoff. Talk about way after hours dedication.
