I really like trackbacks. Its cool to be able to take someone elses blog post, and expand on it. Its even niftier, when they come back and respond to yours.

The problem is spammers have ruined trackbacks. So, while I’ve had them off for almost 2 years, I still miss them. I started a new blog over at Lutheran Forums, and in short order, I had 20 trackback spams. Well, the easy thing to do, is disable that functionality, and then dig into the SQL database and clear them out. Unfortunately, this functionality is not under the blog owners control, so I have to bug the admin. Well, being I am the admin its easy. But its a pain, as others have blogs there too, and thus I have to clean theres as well.

The end result it looks like I need to come up with that AI solution.
